Our story
XFP began life in 2019 as a grassroots concert promotions company in Scotland, set up to run shows for a collective of musicians disenchanted with the legacy music industry. Powered by the marketing and music industry experience of Ross Coutts and Stewart Douglas, XFP has grown exponentially to become a fully national concert promoter, now staging hundreds of events per year across the UK and Northern Ireland – from 100-capacity showcase nights to arena shows and festivals.
Venues promoted include Usher Hall (Edinburgh), O2 Academy (Glasgow), Barrowland Ballroom (Glasgow), Old Fruitmarket (Glasgow), Aberdeen Music Hall (Aberdeen), SWG3 (Glasgow), Queen’s Hall (Edinburgh), Liquid Room (Edinburgh), The Garage (Glasgow), Saint Luke’s (Glasgow), Oran Mor (Glasgow), The Lemon Tree (Aberdeen), Oslo (London), La Belle Angele (Edinburgh), The Deaf Institute (Manchester), The 100 Club (London), Church (Dundee), Cottiers Theatre (Glasgow), Pleasance Theatre (Edinburgh) and others.
In 2024, XFP launched the Scottish Live Music Awards with Go Radio, garnering over 84,000 votes for nominees across 14 categories, in recognition of the best live talent in Scotland.
XFP Live Events Ltd., a subsidiary of XFP, launched in 2024 to curate large scale outdoor festivals and theatre events across the UK from 2025.
